ADOLESCENT INPATIENT PROGRAM

The adolescent inpatient program is designed to treat adolescents ranging from age 13 to 18 years old. Typically, we admit teens experiencing emotional and behavioral problems such as depression, mood swings, suicidal thoughts, self mutilation, relationship problems, and violent or aggressive behavior. Our programs provide a caring environment where adolescents can learn to address their issues and learn more appropriate skills for handling them. We also work hand in hand with families to provide a stable, supportive and emotionally healthy environment for the adolescent. Even though your teen may be staying with us, you’ll still be a regular and routine part of the treatment.

Our specialized, multi-disciplinary team utilizes interactive and interpersonal therapies to work with teens in the way they think, feel, behave and interact with families and peers. The Treatment Team consists of psychiatrists, psychologists, counselors, social workers, activities therapists, nursing staff, and teachers. Programs include individual psychotherapy, group psychotherapy, family therapy and chemical dependency education. River City Academy, our school program, allows adolescents to continue their education while completing treatment.

If your adolescent is experiencing characteristics that cause concern, please call for a free evaluation 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
