CHILD INPATIENT PROGRAM
The child inpatient program is designed to treat children ranging from 5 to 12 years old. Typically, we admit children who are experiencing emotional and behavioral problems. Our programs provide a caring environment where children can learn to address their issues and learn more appropriate skills for handling them. We also work hand in hand with families to provide a stable, supportive and emotionally healthy environment for the child. Even though your child may be staying with us, you’ll still be a regular and routine part of the treatment.
Our specialized, multi-disciplinary team utilizes interactive and interpersonal therapies to work with our young patients in the way they think, feel and behave. The Treatment Team consists of psychiatrists, psychologists, counselors, social workers, activities therapists, nursing staff and teachers. River City Academy, our school program, allows children to continue their education while completing treatment.
