Meet Our Team

At the Decatur General Oncology Center, our passion for understanding, fighting, and one day, eliminating cancer begins long before you walk through our doors. From primary care physicians to specialists and surgeons, our multi-specialist team brings the widest possible range of backgrounds, resources and unique, personal motivation to your particular cancer treatment. It’s that level of individual concern that separates us from other Cancer Centers, and makes our connection with you so special.

Our vast network of medical and radiation oncologists includes specialized technicians, nurses and staff, all of whom work closely with your physicians to monitor your progress and recovery. Each member of the Oncology Center staff is trained or certified in his or her respective field.

The Decatur General Oncology Center is certified as a Comprehensive Community Cancer Care program by the American College of Surgeons. We participate regularly in cutting-edge research and protocols in conjunction with larger research facilities and hospitals.

We are also one of the few facilities in Alabama with both a certified medical dosimetrist and a board-certified medical physicist on staff. Our physician staff includes two medical oncologists and one radiation oncologist, all of whom board certified in their specialties and highly experienced in cancer care.
