MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging)

The latest in MRI technology, our open bore MRI scanner is the most patient friendly MRI scanner of its kind available today. The Siemens Espree has a 70cm open bore which helps put you at ease, especially if you suffer from claustrophobia or tend to be anxious during exams. The Espree comes with the shortest 1.5T magnet available, which allows more than 60% of all exams to be done with your head outside the bore itself, allowing you to enjoy the most open lumbar scan on the market. The extra wide design also helps accommodate our larger patients—up to 500 pounds. All of our technologists are highly trained and are registered by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.

X-RAY

X-rays are performed 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The majority of work done in the Imaging Department continues to be traditional X-ray, but the images are acquired using a Computed Radiology system which allows for digital enhancement and lowers patient radiation dose through fewer exposures. We welcome your physician's referral for any of the tests.
